Gen Z expects brands to reflect the reality of their lives in advertising, and it makes good business sense to do so. Research on inclusivity in ads revealed that 64% of people took some sort of action after seeing an ad that they considered to be diverse or inclusive. But we've got a long way to go. Despite being the most diverse generation yet, research with Wattpad's youth panel revealed that nearly 1/2 of Gen Z in the U.S. don't feel well represented in advertising today.
